My photo, “Winter Cardinal,” is the cover of Chesapeake 360‘s January 2014 issue. Another image, “December Reflections,” illustrates a full-page article on Chesapeake Views – Catching the Light. Thank you to The Star Democrat newspaper, on the Eastern Shore, for sharing these photographs of the Chesapeake Bay region. As I say in my book, “Photography is all about working with light, a mere blink of light, measured in time. The camera is a kind of clock.”
A delightful way to end the year and welcome 2014

Thank you, Bob. You and AJ are always so kind and gracious. Let’s do some photo shoots together this year!
Be still my heart, Wilson! What a gorgeous photograph. Might have to change my screen saver again! Many well deserved congratulations – and the happiest new year’s to you and yours.
All best,
Sally
Wonderful, Sally. Anytime you want a screen saver, just let me know what you want. I appreciate your careful eye and your thoughts.
I love cardinals as they are the state bird of Ohio, my place of birth. Congratulations, Wilson, and have a wonderful year ahead!
Thank you, Kay. You share my love of cardinals. It is also the state bird of Kentucky, my native state. This photo was taken the morning after a blizzard in 2010. The male cardinal was searching for food.
Congratulations Wilson!!! Happy New Year! Esty
