It seems appropriate to post a gallery of water lilies today. These are the flowers, rooted in shallow pools of still water, offering peaceful moments of reflection. After an earthquake and heavy rains from two hurricanes, it’s good to take time for reflection and peace. All of these photographs were taken at Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. I love your water lily pictures and think they have a perfect focus. How do you manage that. ??? Monet would have also enjoyed your pictures. Think these pictures are perfect after all of the problems recently on the east coast. Time for a bit of reflections.
Thank you Jeanne. Seems to me there is nothing like the image of a water lily to stir feelings of peacefulness. A little of that is good right about now. I feel for the people in all those flooded towns north of us.
By the way, the focusing on these shots was manual, and the natural light was excellent.
Beautiful pictures Wilson!
I LOVE these pictures! They would make beautiful pictures to hang on the wall!! Do you sell any of your pictures? Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I sell my original fine art prints. I custom hand print color images from digital up to 13″X19″ on premium paper with Lucia inks, and I can have them made larger, or with special finishes, through a graphics studio I use. Just let me know what images and sizes interest you, and I can give you a delivered price.
